The Indian government has conveyed its position on the Act to the European Parliament

The European Parliament has postponed voting on a resolution on India’s Citizenship (Amendment) Act.

The Government of India has engaged with the Members of the European Parliament to convey its position on the Act, including by the External Affairs Minister in Brussels on February 17, Minister of State in the Ministry of External Affairs V Muraleedharan said in reply to a question in the Rajya Sabha on March 5.
