A total of 38.15 crore (over 381 million) doses of Covid-19 vacine have been administered

India reported 31,443 new cases in the last 24 hours, the lowest number in 118 days.

The average daily new cases has now declined from 3,87,029 cases between 5th-11th May to 40,841 cases between 7th July - 13th July, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said on Tuesday.

At the same time, there has been a continued decline in active cases and rise in recoveries across the country.

With 49,007 patients recovering during the last 24 hours, the total recoveries across the country so far stands at 3,00,63,720.

With this, Indias's Recovery Rate has increased to 97.28%.

At the same time, India's Active Caseload is currently at 4,31,315, which is the lowest in 109 days. The health ministry pointed out that active cases constitute 1.40% of total cases.

On the testing front, the Weekly Positivity Rate remains below 5,% and is currently at 2.28%. The Daily Positivity Rate at 1.81% - it has been less than 3% for 22 consecutive days.

Nearly 43.40 cr tests have been conducted across the country so far.

▪️ Frontline workers- 2.77 crore doses
▪️ People above 45 yrs- 21.80 crore doses
▪️ People aged 18-44 yrs- 11.82 crore doses
