The country’s recovery rate stands at 98.24%

India reported 11,451 new infections of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours taking the country’s overall caseload to 3,43,66,987.

The recovery of 13,204 patients in the last 24 hours has increased the cumulative tally of recovered patients (since the beginning of the pandemic) to 3,37,63,104.

Consequently, India’s recovery rate stands at 98.24%, the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said on Monday.

The Active Caseload is at 1,42,826, which is the lowest in 262 days. Active cases constitute 0.42% of the country's total Positive Cases, which is the lowest since March 2020.

The last 24 hours saw a total of 8,70,058 tests being conducted. India has so far conducted over 61.60 crore (61,60,71,949) cumulative tests.

The Weekly Positivity Rate at 1.26% jas remained less than 2% for the last 45 days now.

The Daily Positivity Rate is reported to be1.32%. The Daily Positivity Rate has remained below2% for last 35 days and below 3% for 70 consecutive days now.

With the administration of 23,84,096 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 108.47 crore (1,08,47,23,042) as per provisional reports till 7 am on Monday.

This has been achieved through 1,09,98,126 sessions.
